So did you actually manage to get tickets for every day?
Yes, I want to know that too.

(This is a great guide btw and as I have tickets for the paralympics I will be re-reading them all again before I go.)
The Mobile Company stand does hand out pin badges, if you ask nicely. If that's your bag.
As Sainsbury's are one of the "Partners" for the Paralympic Games, I wonder if their sponsor pavillion will be a supermarket selling sandwiches and drinks and earning a lot of goodwill by being an alternative to all the food stands. They probably aren't allowed to do that though.
I was there on Tuesday and decided I could not be bothered with any of them other than seeing the big screen as I walked around. I did however follow your advice of alternative things to see from the other day and was most glad I did.
I doubt Sainsburys will be there. John Lewis are the official Department Store of the Olympics but they are not in the park (but in Westfield of course which you can't revisit once you have entered the park for the day). The German car maker's pavilion was one long advert but it does keep you out of the rain.
Great stuff again, thanks. I'm going with kids on Sunday to watch basketball in the morning, then have all day to hang around the park before we get to go up the Orbit in the evening. The Beatbox sounds like a good way to use up an hour at least. (And please, weather deities, let it not rain too hard...)
The soft drink pavilion may be one of the best (the queues were too big there when I was there for me to be bothered to find out) but my word their dancers are annoying, they get bloody everywhere in the park with their 'wacky' antics.

Interestingly the one sponsor who doesn't have a 'pavilion' - i.e. the 'evil' fast food company (just its own branded food outlets) has perhaps had the most positive impact on my games experience - they organised all the training for the Games Makers, who have universally been the best aspect of the games so far for me
Claire - the bandstand (hidden away between the Velodrome & the Hockey) is also a lovely spot to spend some time away from the crowds if you have time to fill. You can also get your photo (or your kids') taken with wenlock there - I don't see the appeal but many kids appear to love it!
Olympic bus kills cyclist, Rockholt Road on weds evening.
Thanks for that review - I only managed Park Live and 'German Car Group Pavilion' on Tuesday. Nice to know I didn't miss much.
Sounds nice inside the park, but out here on the mean streets is a very different story.

Have a look at our blog to see the madness unfold, live!
I was there today to see the Basketball. You weren't wrong about the Arena being vertiginous - I was worried whether I'd last the session as I don't cope with heights very well. I did survive but eeek!

I avoided going into any of the sponsors buildings but did snap most of them. The queues for the 2012 Megastore were mental so that was avoided too. I did do a nice walk round the park including the gardens and riverbanks which were splendid. Thanks for the advice to take time to see those.
If I was going to Stratford, it'd be your advice I'd be paying most attention to.
As it is, I've spectated at four events, so far, none of them on the actual Games site.
Today I spent some of the afternoon at Victoria Park (saw Team GB do well at the Velodrome in the cycling), and then rode up to the "House of Switzerland" between Southwark Cathedral and the river. As well as getting to see Nadja Stoller (a kind of Swiss Suzanne Vega, and I mean that in a good way) play live, I also got to see the beach volleyball match between Switzerland and Austria. The atmosphere when the Swiss won, was really great.
I can honestly say I haven't seen anything yet that I haven't really enjoyed!
Geoff - there are other sponsors who don't have a pavilion - Large Chemical Company, for example (though they've provided the wrap for the stadium and a large park-facing billboard on the side of Westfield), and Fairly Big IT Outsourcing Company - but their logo adorns everyone's accreditation lanyards.
The German Car maker's pavillion is not only the only pavillion actually set on the water, it's also covered in a wall of water which splashes you with big drops of water if you stand too close - I couldn't decide if this was German humour on display, with regards to the British weather...
DG: I just love you.
