My mother was a huge fan of Wynton Marsalis. I wondered when I first saw the name Delfeayo Marsalis if Wynton had changed his name. Trombone was more my father's thing, but I think he stopped looking for new artists to follow in the 80s, while my mother was interested in new music until her death in the late 90s.

The honorific bestowed on Barbadian National Heroes is "The Right Excellent" which applies to Sir Garfield, and also to Rihanna as the only two living recipients. I hope they have met for dinner!
