Thanks for these posts, wondered how it would play out. Regarding the tube map not showing the weekend's arrangements, I've often thought how much easier it would be if the posters and website actually had a map of how the tube is running this weekend, not just colouring in the bits *not* working. As an example, they did this after 7/7 and the Chancery Lane derailment. Shouldn't be too much work to do this for weekend services. Don't expect this to be printed properly but at least downloadable and on the engineering posters. What do you think DG, you have given sterling coverage of the weekend engineering problems!

Oh god, your summary of the weekend sums up everything I'm fearing about the post-December apocalpyse. As someone who makes the journey "round the corner" every day, Edware Road can barely cope as it is, for all the reasons you describe.

Surely, SURELY, upgraded destination boards have to be a basic pre-requisite before this can go ahead? If I can get better information on my mobile (via TfL website's live departure boards) than on the boards, the least they can do is hook up a PC to a screen and show that!

They will have done this to learn lessons.

Evidently problems were found, and the project manager should find answers prior to December.

I know it was a bit of a mess this weekend, but surely that's the point?

Great posts indeed. I am sad about the forthcoming Circle line change, even before the inevitable Edgware Road fiasco... Farewell...
