Bruce Dickinson isn't in AC/DC?

Regards
"Coughs" Bruce Dickinson?
Ah sorry, lack of hard rock knowledge combined with rubbish internet connection. The former is hopefully now fixed.
(sigh) Public money spent lavishly to give 'private enterprise' an easy, subsidised, advantage. Details concealed where possible because of bogus 'commercial confidentiality' (in reality to hide embarrassment or incompetence). Thanks again to DG for giving us a practical, realistic view on this money-pit.
Mahindra compete in the Moto3 world championship. They have the slowest bike after Honda and KTM and have been plagued with gearbox problems this year. So let's hope the E20 is better designed.
Considering all the comments from politicians about some members of the Muslim community leading parallel lives - I wonder if this applies to AC/DC fans?

I was one of those aging rockers inside the stadium with his (Adult) children. I can report the toilet facilities were a vast improvement on the Olympics. Much like the new Wembley there seem to be toilets at the foot of each staircase rather than just out on the perimeter like before. Also the catering inside the stadium was prolific if a little samey. My one complaint was that they only sold lager and bottled cider rather than any Ales. I suspect they lost a lot of custom with this particular clientele!
Mahindra also own a Formula E team; which is looking for a new race venue in London now that the locals have booted out the Battersea Park race after next month's event is run.
The London Stadium website makes much of its food and beverage options, in particular "12+ Real ales bars around concourse serving traditional ales sourced by our brewery." I assume that this liquid nirvana remains several months away.
Having designed the drainage for the original incarnation of the stadium I'd be intrigued to know what they've done.
Has the field of play been lowered so they can get seats closer to the football pitch?
I thought there were toilets at each staircase before, but alternately ladies and gents? Having retired I haven't got access to the drawings.
I'm going to call it The Elizabeth Stadium
I have tickets for the Diamond League athletics in July, and they make no mention of which 'bridge' to use, merely 'Turnstile D'.
That's good news, Sam, it means free access across the bridges and around the inner island.

There are ten turnstiles, labelled from A to K, with C and D the closest to the Westfield entrance.
#peewit, if you looked for the pop up bars under the stairs they had Scottish brewed IPA! Quite nice, and the cider had run out.

Toilets have been rebuilt because of the different male/female ratio of Olympics/football, although for those that have seen them I suspect the fountain wash basins in the gents will become a urinal.

You can go in any bridge whatever your ticket says, then just walk round internally, and look for the section number.

The company is now called Stadium 185, after the number of medals that we won in 2012. However with the cheats being exposed that number fluctuates daily as our athletes get upgraded and downgraded as cheats are stripped of their medals!
For what it is worth, the stadium seemed to work reasonably well for the Rugby World Cup (draft ale available, naturally). The one negative was getting away, with huge crowds being held for ages at several points on the way back to Stratford. But visitors to Wembley on a match day will be familiar with that.
I would have thought it be called 'The Lotto Stadium'...no?

One of your more interesting 'Post-Olympic updates'...PVH 8 on this one.
Scrumpy:
"I suspect the fountain wash basins in the gents will become a urinal. "

By intent, or by usage?

A couple of observations on the Map of Stadium Island (link in DG's 5th paragraph, just below the crowd scene):

Why is Pudding Mill Lane Station "from 2017 onwards"?
The map seems to be under American influence: "nearby public transportation links"
West Ham might be playing there earlier in an Europa League qualifier.
"Transportation" was what we used to do to undesirables whom we shipped off to the colonies. I think they mean "transport".
