It's good news that the vaccine looks like it'll be successful, I suspect that large scale vaccination will be more towards the end of 2021, so 2022 will be the first year when we get some idea of what the post-Covid economy will look like.

Hoping England will follow Wales and cancel next years exams too. Kids have had such a disrupted year so far - how can they possibly be up to standard in just 6 months time.
Not to mention the stress they are already under!

I'm not quite sure how 'lockdown' first trickled into common usage - as a colleague pointed out, it's a prison term, and psychologically not a great thing to be saying to your population. The government weren't officially using the term for what they were asking people to do, but it was occasionally uttered in the daily briefings from April onwards.
