10 Downing Street tours are a real highlight of this year's Open House, but I wasn't successful in the ballot!

Many thanks for this comprehensive list. The Heritage Open Days link to the House Mill needs checking - it goes to Dorich House instead.

This is such a useful list. Thanks for taking the time to prepare it.

I have noted the Fulham Flower and Vegetable show, and will report back. Sadly plans this year have scuppered my chance to see the Brentford Festival for the second year in a row. I must really stop planning things for the first Sunday in September so I'm free for it.

Tours of the British Vintage Wireless and Television Museum appear to have been cancelled. The Museum is currently closed during maintenance work.
dg writes: replaced, thanks. |
The Chiswick Book festival is also on - 11-18 Sept.

The 430 bus that will take you to next weekend's flower and produce show was also handy for today's organised by another long standing garden society in Roehampton. It was surprisingly busy with some impressive flowers, fruit and veg on display. Not to mention the homemade cakes.
dg writes: dammit, I passed by 90 minutes too early (on the 430, obviously) |
the Leytonstone Festival will apparently be opened by Barry Scott, from off of the Cillit Bang adverts.

Lambeth Heritage Festival - I echo your Hats off! I've just scrolled through the brochure and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of quality events. If there is a civic award for such things I suggest Gold.
