Beautiful spot indeed, but quite a challenge to get to without a car. Indeed even getting to Dunstable ain't easy because they closed the railway - though railcars had it on their blinds right up to nineteen-mumblety-mumble.

I saw Didcot power station from Dunstable Downs, I am still impressed that it was possible
