Fibreglass public art trails all began with CowParade in Chicago in 1999. The following year CowParade was taken to New York. The herd had grow to almost 500 cows and is said to have attracted over 40 million viewers. You may have seen CowParade in Edinburgh, London or Manchester. Art covered cows have roamed the globe visiting over 100 cities in 75 countries.
Part of me really wants to know what they've called it. But I appreciate you keeping your integrity.

It reminds me of the time we were sat in The Angel and a marketer was asking people what they called the area the pub was in and offered a list of responses (including the dreaded "Midtown"). It annoyed her no end that we went off list and said St. Giles. And kept insisting that that's what the area is called. I think our response wasn't recorded.
Not all heros wear capes.

Thanks for your sterling work here!
So when they talk about the F**** S***** Q******, are they referring to that quarter of F**** S***** that is just a series of holes in the ground at the moment, pending the erection of yet more office space for lawyers and financiers?

dg writes: not specifically, no.
All well and good I'm sure, but not a patch on the giraffe one.
Farringdon Village my arse
The elephant one was the best.
How old are you and your brother 7??
We're not both 7, no.
Not sure why you object to naming the organisation who have put on this free display. Just seems a bit petty.
It'd be impressive if you were 7 and somehow writing a blog thirteen years before being born!
Did the snowman chase today, along with everybody else in London it seems, every one I found had two or three others taking photos, maybe they are DGers?

You are right that some of them are damned hard to find and even the red dots are widely off mark. I had to do a detailed hunt of Mr Google to find where New Bell Yard for no 11 was, not even the detailed map in front of St Pauls showed it.

Favourite comment from one couple I met - how many have you got? Ten, say I. They had to sulk with just three.

Great fun on a rather drizzly morning.
