The PM said in his statement that one of his main reasons for the lockdown was NHS capacity being overwhelmed if everyone got ill at the same time - but if everyone mixes at Christmas we'll be back here anyway, I think this will be less effective because 1) more people are fed up, and 2) education keeps going, so keeping the engine room of virus growth active.
Very pessimistic about the debt being run-up, wouldn't be surprised if pensions were cut, or property taxes were introduced, its going to be horrible. |
