Please don't tell us the word.
(but can you work out what it is?)

The Waitrose ad may indeed be a bit schmaltzy but I do like Joe Wilkinson for his typically offbeat British humour.
I am simultaneously enthralled and aggravated that i clicked on all ten videos and watched them all. πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ„
The Barbour ad featuring Wallace & Gromit is quite good.
Yes, I have worked out the word
No idea bout the word, but the Uxbridge Christmas lights were definitely switched on last Saturday as planned; the accompanying fireworks woke me from a late afternoon doze. Haven't managed to spot the source of the incorrect information.

What irks me about the John Lewis ad is that they don’t sell either vinyl LPs or record players!
Bottom 4 for me are

7. Waitrose
8. Aldi
9. Sainsbury's
10. Asda (hate it with a passion, almost as much as their previous Elf themed ads of yore)

I probably like Tesco the best too. "I got the fah-st train" reminds me of things people used to say when I went back oop North once I moved South although I never have pronounced fast like that and never will unironically.

Not too fussed about the other 5.
I've no ranking, but I've seen the Asda one most often on TV.
Yes, there are two possibilities for the missing word.
Oops, no there aren't.
I'd swap Asda with Aldi and Boots with Waitrose... I'm just very happy at the plethora of 90s tracks across ad breaks, making up for the absolute torture that is the Asda song. She's a Star deserves to be reheard often. It's clearly the turn of Xennials in the commissioning seat, our time has come!
Can anyone beat 39 (festive) letters?
BOUGH, COOK, FELIZ NAVIDAD, JOY, QUIET, WRAP, ????

37 letters.
I have used your QUIET and WRAP.
FIZZ, JOY, LIGHT, QUIRE, EVE, CAKE, WONDER, BELL, ????

38, but without reusing any of yours.
JOYEUX NOEL!
FELIZ NAVIDAD!
MAGI BRING PIES.
QUACK.
Or "Quick, Magi, bring pies", if ducks aren't sufficiently festive.
Oh, drat, missed the W. Where's the delete button?
I've seen just 4 of the Christmas ads. I'd put them all below 10. The Morrisons one in particular.
Kim: I did see both a turntable and a 12" of the song from the advert for sale in John Lewis.
I give up.

JOYEUX NOEL! FELIZ NAVIDAD! QUICK, MAGI WHO BRING PIES! is 43, but does at least capture the seasonal spirit.
