Makes sense now why one of the new roads in Barking Riverside is named Huggett Road.
Every so often I make a pleased hum of new knowledge when reading your blog, and today's was one of them regarding the Three Lamps. Thank you!
I sense an opportunity to explore other "Three Lamps" locations across the country. You're probably aware of the Bristol one.
Even though the names may not be geographically perfect, this demonstrates the ability of the new names to educate the public about places and people important to our history that many people (including me) weren't aware of.

My daughter works for an organisation that is based in Oxford House, overlooking Weavers Fields. I went on one of the settlement house's guided tours. From the roof you get a very good view of the park. The woman showing us round said that during droughts you can see the outline of the foundations of the houses.
You’ll find that the Liberty Shopping Centre can be akin to a lawless hunting ground at times… although not necessarily medieval.
