For question 4 does visit mean get off the train or just that the train has to call?

I had a good day yesterday, just woken up with something of a hangover, think I'll have another look at these puzzles tomorrow, as I'm having trouble understanding the questions!
An excellent set of puzzles.

I thought number 5 was relatively straightforward. I had to use my brain more on some of the others. But perhaps I've got the wrong answers.
The answer to number 3 depends on whether the planets are orbiting in the same direction or in opposite directions (which is unlikely but possible).
@ Mike Scott: I think the word "overtake" implies that they are orbiting in the same direction.
Endorse M: took me about 5 seconds, so probably wrong!
If you can answer question 5 in five seconds, or even fifty seconds, I think I can guarantee you've got the wrong answer.
I chose my words carefully when I said that question 5 was "relatively straightforward". I didn't say it was "quick". I certainly couldn't have done it in 5 seconds or even 50 seconds.
Question 5 is relatively straightforward. That is not the same as saying it can be answered quickly but one can quickly think how it could be answered in principle and less quickly work out what the actual answer is.
With question 5, it is emphasized that 34 is the nearest whole number, not 33, so it can't be the number the question encourages you to think it is.

No.4 .. Oi!

;-)
Thanks for these! Took me 45 minutes to answer them all. Needed a spreadsheet for 3 and 5, not sure if that's considered cheating but would have taken me a lot longer otherwise!
No idea about No 2

Fans of Terry TT will know the "eighth colour" to be octarine, but not here.
Yuk! How are the bus stops in Bow?
For one of them, I used a spreadsheet to find the answer (which I consider sort-of cheating) (and which required a lot of faffing about with dollar signs), but on seeing the numerical value, I think I am most of the way to figuring out how I could have written some equations to derive it "directly". Most of the way...
Ye gods, it's like being back at school!
5 buses travelling easterly at 20 miles per hour, pass 7 helicopters travelling north. What colour is the third door on the left!

Maffs! Yuk!
But I got the first one, ok!! :D
Did you get the GCHQ quiz book for Xmas?
