I thought the Romanian bandsmen deserve a mention for being so entertaining.
It was great, too, to be able to see - in one of the galleries near to the OXO building - a tribute to a circus troupe called Archaos, which I'd seen in the late '80s at Battersea Power Station, and had thought were something else. I even found myself talking with a guy called Ian Smith who had been part of that travelling group.
As for the parade along the Embankment and across Blackfriars Bridge on the Sunday night, I'm just sooo glad I went back for the return visit - I think I'd have to say that the procession had to be the best I've seen to date.
