I am concerned that this meeting did not appear to be quorate, normally a minimum of 5 would be expected.
Also, it's time that the company paid a dividend.
This was my occasional local when I attended teacher training at CSSD in the early 2000s. We would retire there for liquid refreshment after a hard day's Piaget. Afterwards, a slightly unsteady journey back to Victoria and then home to the Kent coast.
The quorum would of course be determined by the Constitution (or other document of incorporation)to which, sadly, we are not privy. It would appear that it is in fact one, as 'DS' (presumably the Secretary, as someone must have taken the minutes) is recorded as attending rather than present. However, as it appears that no actual business was transacted, save the approval of last year's minutes, a quorum would not be required, and so we cannot draw any conclusions about what it might have been.
I do feel that there should have been at least one angry shareholder there who complained bitterly about the excessive coverage of bus stop 'M', prior to being defeated in the vote for more Becks and Creme Eggs by Very Big Pension Funds Ltd.
It is pleasing to note an apparent shift in the choice of refreshment with Mr Smith's product replacing that formerly provided by Messrs Beck and company.
Sorry forgot to give my apologies
On the non-Becks issue: were hiccups reported?
Sorry, I turned up the Sunday prior. I wondered where everyone was.
Were refreshments provided free gratis to the delegates attending?
If so, then these gifts must be recorded in the register in the usual way, within 30 days.
Failure to do so may result in a leak to the Press, and the accompanying unwelcome attention that can be shrugged off with a quick quote about forgetting.
After five hours in the pub I'd have expected a few questions from the floor; like "where am I?" "who am I?", "How much have I drunk", and "why is there a table up there?"
I hope my postal votes were registered and duly noted, including that the auditors should not be remunerated based upon the failure to publish any accounts for several years.
On Mumsnet (which we're not) and maybe other boards, DS is a common abbreviation for Dear Son. Just saying.
There should have been a representative from the kitten bothering department. There have been a dearth of feline related posts and comments recently.
OK, I did read the comments this time and can confirm that they are quite delightful. I regret any insinuation otherwise. #stakeholderengagement
I endorse the attendant's reference on the Mystery Count.
A pint of Sam Smiths...what? Alpine Lager would feel the most appropriate at that venue, even though it is awful. But probably cheaper than a bottle of Becks in many London establishments these days.
To qualify for Clapham residence, DS will need to be single and aged between 26 and 40 and, unless excused by gender, bearded. He (unless beardless) will "work" within walking distance of any Northern Line station between Borough and King's Cross (inclusive).

Renting, not buying, obviously.
Like most of your shareholders, I have just one non-voting share. The return on capital invested is incalculable.
I like Alpine Lager.
As an old man I object to being objectified as a moaner by somebody who hides behind a nom de plume unlike me. Who do I complain to?
I rather like being called a Moaner. It gives my name a certain ring to it.
I deliberately stayed away from the AGM. This is my usual practice, as it prevents me from feeling guilty for not volunteering for something (or even worse, actually volunteering).
I looked up liminal in the dictionary and still don't understand what it means... except that for some reason, my imagining of Labour party business deliberations in respect of the Sustainable Leverage item comes to mind.
Was there not a vote on re-appointing the auditors and director renumeration? I was always vote against those.
...i guess if we don't get sent invites one can't be disappointed at the turnout. my suggestion is a dark, cold, wet Tuesday in November. Summer would by then be a distance memory and Christmas build-up already tiresome. Most if not all would have had their annual hols and probably not much better to do than attend.
Clapham over Hackney? Pah!
Has he seen the greeting on the arch in Clapham?
