Just what we've been waiting for.
Well, some of us! Bravo.
Here’s hoping there will be an East London supplement featuring a well-known stop in the Bow area!
One for your Superloop section:

An SL6 Superloop branded bus was spotted outside Holborn tube station on Wednesday morning.

Buses. East London. Forever.
Kingston Wood Street yesterday. Bus stop towards Heathrow showing SL7 but stop towards Croydon still saying X26. And the SL7 route map shows the next stop as Cromwell Road bus station, which will close just as route SL7 starts.

Despite your instruction to the contrary, I am not excited.
MyLondon links broken
Best way to experience a MyLondon link, David.
The new 84B to be run by Galleon Travel?
This is the same firm who have failed to run ANY service on Essex contracted 542 since Christmas, except in school holidays/Saturdays.
Good luck, Barnet..
And whoever holds the contract, be prepared to enforce it!
Well done re the weekly digest
Comprehensive bus news from across Greater London. What's not to love! Brilliant.
Ok, I won’t say I’m not excited…..but it’s bound to be leaked out somehow. 😏
I love the Bucks Free Press story.

"Diamond Buses did not comment on why there was no return service from Heathrow to Chesham."
Buses are totally under-rated. Bus news even more so!
A nice try. The only link I followed was the last and it was a bad link.
Human interest?
Violence towards users or staff?
A terrible accident?
A heart warming animal story?
The kindness of strangers?
Something really weird about the bus system or a particular bus?

No doubt I will be reading next Friday.
I dunno, you wait ages for a transport summary and then two turn up at once...
Well, you wait for two transport news roundups (Ian Visit and London Reconnections Friday reads) and three turn up at once.
The last stop for routes from the west in Kingston Eg 111,285 is now at John Lewis! That’s blummin’ MILES away from Kingston station and Cromwell road etc! ….And we’ve gotta put up with this for 6 MONTHS or more!!! TFL increasingly just do what they bloody well like and don’t give a To$$ about the inconvenience to those to whom they are supposed to be providing a service! They should not me allowed to get away with it!
groan
This is great, hopefully this continues.
This is a great read. Maybe you could feature other niche transport methods next week
I thought about adding Tram news and Dangleway news but there wasn’t any this week.
Yay for bus news! Sometimes we only know what's happening because you are the only/first one to have spotted it!
Tube Challenge experts: to what extent, if any, is this new link from the outskirts of the Metropolitan line to Heathrow a game-changer, and to what extent is it irrelevant because you still need to clear the rest of the Metropolitan line?

dg writes: If you read the news item, which includes a full timetable, you'll see the route only operates before 6am (and in one direction only).
I am a member of a Google group called 'Londons Transport' and every Friday they send out a comprehensive 'London Bus News' which goes into great details about route changes, diversions and what new vehicles have entered service.
Noticed in Teddington today that route X26 bus stops now rebranded with Superloop rounded and SL7 tile on the bus stop.
Thanks for including three fascinating MyLondon articles about the route between Crawford Crescent and Westway.
What do they do with the buses from Chesham after they get to Heathrow?
The first bus will probably run empty back to Chesham. Driver could probably do it in 45 minutes if empty, have a 15 minute break then return. Presume their theory is that there won't be much demand going the other way.
One theory I’ve heard is that this service is primarily for Heathrow staff, with any passengers a bonus.
You posted too early and missed the 158 bus becoming a 24/7 route, which is excellent news for me!

"If you read the news item, which includes a full timetable, you'll see the route only operates before 6am"

I had done that before posting my question; indeed, that inspired the question, for which the answer requires expertise that I do not have.
There are no trains to Chesham overnight while the bus service is running. There are no buses to Chesham. Tubechallengewise it’s irrelevant.
Thank you.
Should anyone genuinely be interested...
