7000...very many congratulations!

And - thank you.
You tease - no wonder you took so few photos for yesterday's post. But seriously, why not an overnight stay and do the place properly. You could also add elapsed time to your posts as an indicator of how long you had to enjoy it.
Epic read, 7000 - congrats!
If you want to visit the doctor who experience in Cardiff, be quick. It's scheduled to close permanently this summer.https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-cardiff-s-doctor-who-experience-from-closure

Happy 7000th post.
D. Geezer - 7,000 not out. What an innings. :-)

Congratulations and thank you.
Wow. Congratulations and thank you.
7000th post huh...bet you already worked out when (in theory) you'll do the 10000th post!

dg writes: Currently pencilled in for May 2024.
Wow, congratulations!
Congratulations on reaching 7 000 posts.

As for Cardiff I have always found it a surprisingly underwhelming place. I have wandered around it a few times, and even stayed the night once, and still have no real feelings about the place, either positive or negative. And while all the places that DG describes sound interesting enough, none of them sound sufficiently exciting to make me want to head back to Cardiff and see what I missed.
Cardiff bay is a tacky, trashy collection of uninspiring new buildings, nasty, noisy restaurants and tasteless attractions that is an embarrassment to someone born there when compared with the vast majority of other cities.
