This has been an impressive series - the entire open areas of the City walked and described. Thank you.
Thanks for the series - engaging, interesting and always something unexpected. Do you feel you fully know the City yet?
Loved this series, sad it’s over!
I have to admit to have gone through most of my life clueless about the riches of the livery companies. Then, a decade or so ago, one of my kids (like so many London youngsters) took part in the Lord Mayor's show and my eyes were opened. Went on the Leathersellers' tour at the weekend - fantastically wealthy due to their land holdings. The city - as your posts have shown - is truly a fascinating place.
Thanks for this series - I've really enjoyed it.
It's amazing how such a small area could contain so many smaller areas within it!
These were all great, thanks!
Thanks for sharing these City tours. Bit sad they’ve inevitably come to an end, but at least they are all saved for a re-tread.
A fascinating exploration. Loved the photography, taking advantage of the lack of people. Got happily lost following the many links. Is there a more interesting City in which to wander and wonder?
gutted that this series has come to an end ... absolutely fascinating and thank you very much
Great series, throught it I've collected a wealth of information for my next trip to London.
The only place I knew about before reading, was the Nederlandse Kerk.
Cheers for the interesting and detailed series.
Great series, the City is still a surprisingly interesting place, despite the Blitz, 60s planners and modern redevelopment
Fascinating and glorious series. The City is wonderful and full of interest.

Well done and thank you for putting it all together.
Aother excellent series. I will consult the next time I visit somewhere in the City to see what is closeby.
I've really enjoyed this series. Thanks very much.
We were idly walking around the area on Saturday afternoon and nearly strayed onto a film set by accident. Any idea what they were filming?
I walked through Pinner's Passage and past Austin Friars five days a week en route to the Guildhall from Liverpool Street station for a couple of years. An endlessly fascinating walk.

Thanks for this series, I've really enjoyed it.
Ben Lewis-Smith is the accompanist for my choir. He's an extremely talented musician. Do go and hear him if you can.
