That was quick.

I am 67 and always ride on the upper deck of double-deckers. I did not think that unusual.
Ok so I read that post in the wrong order. I blame reading on a mobile ;)
I did this same journey just last week. Following in DG's footsteps!
I am also 67 and also ride upstairs whenever feasible, and also consider that normal. But I do not live in London, though I often visit. In Kent the double-deck routes seem to be the longer ones, which only over-60s can afford to use frequently.
I haven't commented much, but I am very enjoying the round London bus series; I will be sad when it is complete. |
The journey today passes through the constituencies of 2 famous leaders of the Conservative Party: Winston Churchill and Iain Duncan Smith!
@kissenme -- that should be one famous leader and one failed leader
Newst bus to date (63 reg) , and also the shortest leg at two miles.
"the waiting demographic" ...and what 'demographic' may that be?
...those whom not read your blog or maybe a 'demographic' different to ones own? 'demographic' seems like a word often used to say something without saying it. a bit like what i have done here. |
@Alan Burkitt-Gray
I was trying to be sarcastic - I don't think a statue of IDS will appear next to Churchill |
"Sorry, that wasn't a very exciting trip" ... So have you lost more female readers today then?
