You have a large choice there. Commenting from Gibraltar today (always read your blog wherever), it seems the locals here are also on the electrol register as GibTV was reminding people to make sure their names are on list. No chance for UKIP. Guess this is your first comment from GiB.
Jason won't be getting the pedants' vote. Two redundant apostrophes on his home page!
So the incumbant and probable winner lives in West Ham and not the constituency she is representing. Mmmmm!
You've certainly got a more interesting ballot paper than we do in Richmond Park. We never seen to get the oddball candidates that other constituencies attract.
Seems to me that there are already too many lawyer MPs, and the resulting legislation has been appalling - in lack of thought-through-ness and general effect.

The Green Candidate is really named Poison?
is Elliot a Ball or a Bell

(wheee at last I've found something to nitpick about - not easy with DG)

dg writes: Balls. Fixed, thanks!
One can only wonder whether the new RA is standing (or has been 'encouraged' to stand) to confuse the real RA voters.
Looking at my constituency (Mitcham and Morden), we're also oddball "free" (for some definition of oddball.

Of them, only three are local - the incumbent Labour candidate, the Lib Dem and the the UKIP one. The rest? Conservative, Green and Christian Peoples Alliance? Nope.

We will get a local MP for local people because it's a Labour safe seat, but still...
You claim that the UKIP candidate is standing on an "anti-immigrant platform". That may be your perception, and it is mine, of UKIP. But in fairness, that party does /claim/ that it is not anti-immigrant. (Though clearly many of its adherents, including those recently chucked out, are).
Too many lawyers? More like, too many career politicians. Like Ed and Nick and Dave.

"there has been a slow but steady decline in the proportion of lawyers and former lawyers taking their seats in Parliament, from almost a third a hundred years ago to around 15% today ... for the first time, there are now more ex-PR people in Parliament than lawyers. And more than half of new MPs are career politicians, many of them people who have never in their lives done anything except politics." - http://heresycorner.blogspot.com/2011/11/where-have-all-lawyers-gone.html
The Communities United Party is most famous for misspelling its own name in a press release as "Communist United Party"!

A couple of weeks ago I spotted that one of our local candidates (in Holborn and St Pancras) is from the CISTA party
We've got a CISTA too. We've also got someone from the Class War party (an anarchist group from Swansea).

For diversity, go have a look at Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Boris Johnson's constituency). Three independent candidates, the Eccentric Party of GB, TUSC, Monster Raving Loonies, the Realists and Communities United, in addition to the reds, blues, yellows, greens and purples.
Twittelection has created Twitter lists for the candidates in all constituencies. See, for example, http://twittelection.co.uk/c/bethnal-green-and-bow.html
