The ramp and staircase from the Lea towpath were still locked on Sunday, with a sign in place advising that the Greenway was closed. Is that just an oversight or part of the plan?

Argh...I can't believe it's changed hands, those bacon rolls were the finest in London, I'd been waiting for the reopening to go back and have another.
I would love it if the new operators' were as good but that would be bloody hard |

Many thanks for that. I am not familiar with your part of London but does this mean we can now finish Sections 14-15 of the Capital Ring Walk, having been (joyfully) interrupted by the Olympics? Having a 10 year old book does not help. |
