Bloody brilliant dg - I love it!
I'm looking forward to reading about your adventures throughout the year again.

I've got a sneaky suspicion that you've taken early retirement as you don't mention work these days, and you seem to have so much time on your hands...
Is that it? Get the feeling all the "fun" bits have been left out
But when is the annual meeting to decide which are the cutest kittens on the blog?
"12pm sharp" for a pedants' event - love it!
April 1st, Free rides on the "Dangleway" I think your trying to make fools of us all.

But count me in for "The Bus Stops of Bow on May 1st.
Well, another packed year! I can't wait!
Glad to see that Sutton is finally getting the attention it rightly deserves (long overdue in my opinion).

A bit of a shame that most of the others are so uninspiring...
Re December, perhaps Armageddon and being on a distant hill to watch the fireworks will be combined into a single event - although trains may not run all night.
'The bus stops of Bow'. Sheer poetry.

Where's W.T. McGonagall when you need him?
Thanks for the giggles this morning,DG. It certainly clears the bronchial tubes!
Can I pre-book for the September event-moaning about the trains,as I am a grumpy old gal? 😉
Can I subscribe to a daily DG-ist email, or a weekly digest?
Nice to catch up with you and some old faces at the party last night!
Will you be monitoring each of the 'specific' venues to see who turns up?
There are a number of these event that I actually would attend! Must say something about me..
I'm afraid I've been to Cockfosters so won't be attending. But VERY excited about those Christmas lights seen from the bus!
The new tablets seem to be having an interesting effect, where can I get some?

Re April 8th

Due to the apostrolypse, only one person can be appointed to the "Pedant's Subcomittee"
oooooooooh, I wanna join the Hornchurch Starbucks Flashmob .... what time is it ?
Can't think who you might be poking fun at with the references to Christmas Lights bus tours in October or Moaning about Trains on the first Thursday of a month. :-)

Slightly shocked that "foreign" drinks will be served at the Article 50 celebration. Surely only beverages made in England and Wales should be in scope?

Still if you actually did do these events I'm sure loads of people would turn up. But, of course, you won't.
Great!
May I suggest also a competition for taking the furthest day trip from London, taking 50 good photos, and writing 2000 words about it. Fares to be paid by the entrants.
Dang! Someone mentioned a possible 'access all areas' trip to M&M World and the new Lego shop at Leicester Square, for February, but I can't see it :(
Please don't say it's an 'invitation only' event or that it's sold out.
Why only an evening for what's wrong with trains? Needs a month!
Good. That's my calendar now looking like I lead a full and interesting life!
DG, good today, as always, but the commentariat excelled itself.
Simply brilliant.

See you on Saturday in Leeds.
I'm sure the pedants at the meeting would know how to spell committee.
@NLW, I assumed that the spelling mistake, lack of capital N and random apostrophe placing/omission(pedant's, Oneills, Earls') were entirely deliberate
Will February's Mystery Tour add to the Mystery Count?
Amber, I realised that after posting, and rue the inability to delete comments!
Embarrassing. I thought for a moment this was serious and that I'd missed something. And like another of your readers, I thought that I'd actually enjoy these! Lucky I'm in Australia and didn't try to book in!
Sally, you can always watch the videos of the lectures, which will be available on th Facebook page. Also included will be photos from the Cute Kitten competition.
I wish The Bus Stops of Bow tour was a true fact.
Local tourism at its finest.
Participants could be grouped and tasked with crossing Bow roundabout in the faster and safest way possible to cross between Bus stops on either side of Bow road.
Reminds me of the mystery walk review you wrote a few years back - great to see you're back in the event management line of things.
So love Ally Pally

Would just be bowled over at the thought of a Polish Bread event. Every town should have one.
