I like walking along the quiet little path beside Turkey Brook, on the stretch just east of Turkey Street station. It is strange that the London Loop map tells you to walk along the main road instead.

You've found a replacement for the random boroughs, then - random sections of the London Loop!

A lovely section of the LOOP this as you found and looks like you made the most of the lovely weather we've had the last couple of weeks. I remember taking the tube up to Cockfosters to start this walk too. I'd always wondered what it was like seeing it on so many tube trains. And passing a very dodgy derelict pub (Rifles) on the way to Enfield Lock station. I expect it's long gone now.

It's still standing Jon, although hidden behind developers' boards - as it has been for at least the last five years...

Did this section of the walk yesterday. They’ve done a lovely thing at Albany Park and sent the Brook meandering through the northern edge of the Park. Instead of the concrete channel there’s more naturalism.
