I'll use this box to post an "I couldn't care less" answer. I only ever eat Ready Salted crisps and they're always red so the debate means little to me.

..and I use this box as the correct option doesn't appear to be available.

Cheese and Onion should be green but ready salted should be blue. Salt and vinegar shouldn't exist.

not RSS unfriendly to me!! I see the beautiful colours...but care only that Salted should stay red for ever.

All crisps are smelly and disgusting

Love the Gary Lineker vote!

Ready salted should be dark blue. Salt'nShake should be white. Skips should be yellow and pink. Penny chews should cost a penny. The Euro coins should be better designed.

After growing up in Australia, think how traumatic eating crisps (or chips as I still like to call them) was when I arrived in the UK. In the great southern land, plain are dark blue, salt and vinegar are pink, chicken is green, cheese and onion are mustard, BBQ are orange. So biting into my favourite chicken only to be meet with the bitter taste of salt and vinegar put me off eating chips for life (no a bad thing considering how much artery clogging fat is in them).

Colours on the world chip stage are pretty out of whack! Especially, considering all the major brands of chips are owned by Pepsi, no idea why they can’t assimilate the colour/flavour relationships (of course the British would suffer some adjustment as they adopted the better Australian colour scheme).

I'm colour blind

I only eat M & S crisps, the others are disgusting! Once you've tried them you won't want to go back.

i always think of green as sour cream & onion....

Australian chicken chips are green?! Is this another example of the ex-convicts rejecting British tradition and heritage in a fit of pique, in favour of (always contrary) American colour schemes?! You know: the New Zealand Tourism Board has dedicated March as “Be nice to Australians” Month. But I’ll be buggered if I’ll be nice to this foolish gaggle of ex-crims in the hope they’ll visit my country and spend lots of their money whilst here. How the hell do you get pink out of salt & vinegar?!

I don't eat crisps - I've been round the factory.
