I'm reading this from France, but have to come back to London next week - do you advise me to cancel my plans until this is sorted out?

PS I thought City of London police had to be taller than that.

Shoot to kill anyone who mentions they are playing squash to night.

No court in the land will convict

*tension*

I want my Diamond Geezer back! *sigh* It's getting silly, and too protracted.

see first post in the series re phone - it works on emergency band frequencies (so it ought to function in places where most mobiles fade away

it's genius, that's what it is!

I don't want to wait until I'm back at work next Monday to find out what happened, erm, next Monday...

Give us some real-time updates DG. I want to start pressing the refresh button.

Anybody know anybody at the Friday project? They need to be offering DG a book deal.

Wormwood Street...hmmm...interesting....

What's Russian (or Ukrainian) for "Wormwood" again...?

(Despite said plant getting rather a rough deal in the Bible, there is a fantastic liquour made from it in Latvia...)

It's a brilliant post-but that Operation Sassoon link froze my Safari causing me to use ever-dependable Firefox. The pdf did come up after three or four minutes and it read like more of the same tale. There's a Gold Coordinating Group and a London Mass Fatality Plan with Resilience Mortuaries in case the Designated Disaster Mortuaries get filled up-the only faint hint of reality is that evacuation buses will pick up where they can turn around.

I for one welcome our new police overlords.

loving this

took me some time to twig on that this is fiction!!

I read the blogs rss feed in my google reader thing and because I have it set to read all posts in a lovely river of feeds, the updates on this story kept popping up in amongst all the other crap I read. Leading to a strange and protracted, tension causing story
