I sometimes waste idle hours wondering how transport wonks could make our lives in East London any more difficult. I didn't think of withdrawing the whole eastern leg of the North London Line at exactly the time when construction workers on the olympic site might be wanting to use it to get to work. Genius. |

Yes, but the DLR already runs from North Woolwich to Canning Town, and the Jubilee line runs from there alongside the North London Line to Stratford, so there's a pretty good alternative route. |
