please empty your brain below

Oh, the eyes, the eyes! The light, it blinds.

Ditto what Ollie said.

dg, I think this might beat your April 1st Kitten page.

Which is saying something: that was brilliant

Geezer: please make it stop.

pahahahahahaha

aaarrhhhhgggg - the blinking!

stop!

he he he

Have fainted. No warning of flashing lights............

This vexes Voltan greatly. There shall be much smiting.

Nice little message for us blogliners

Even the knowledge that it's a satirical spoof can't stop the hatred from flowing here...

This green is much easier to read than the normal colourway...

However, the text is almost unreadable.

Is it time I started my annual FOTCR™ (Feast of the Cash Register) campaign already?

Gah! Stop it!

You're a month late - Christmas arrived on ITV on August 29th with a "Spruce Up your carpets - it's CHRISTMAS!" advert.

Oh my God, DG!
*puts on sunglasses*

yeuch am I not liking that green side bar. No flashing effects here though...

dg writes: I think the flashing only works in Firefox, not Internet Explorer.

I can't decide whether to laugh or hunt you down and spork you to death.

You evil genius you.

Brilliant. We were just chatting last night about all the Xmas stuff coming up so early here. The Soho restaurant we were in last night was already boasting its Christmas menu.

I think it's maybe because there are no big holidays in the UK between then and now? It the States, we'd still have to have Halloween and Thanksgiving marketed to us.

Yes, they already had the gigantic Xmas lighting displays up at Costco... giant reindeer, faked snow flocking and all the other dreaded telltale signs.

But as the previous poster pointed out... we first have to endure the gauntlet of Halloween (which is probably the easiest major holiday of all) and then Thanksgiving before we can really focus on Xmas.

On the contrary, DG - it was MUCH more pleasant in NetNewsWire!! (but don't worry, I did click through for the full experience).

I work right about the Christmas Shop in Hay's Galleria so this isn't much a sore sight for already blinded eyes!

Can I have a skin changer button on the sidebar for Christmas please

My eyes hirt...

Where's me christmas crackers?

No blinking in Safari either. The bright green sidebar is painful, but the main text is actually rather soothing.

We may not have Christmas displays in stores yet over in the US, but the catalogs have certainly started.
