Carolyn, I would trade the warm weather in London (or anywhere) for cold weather in Melbourne. London doesn't have Lygon St or St Kilda. It certainly doesn't have a Lamb's takeaway where I can get a gyros. And I can't find an equivalent of the Esplanade Hotel. |

Richard & Judy's show DID try to fry an egg on a car bonnet yesterday though. It didn't work. Not even slightly white after 50 minutes. I think they missed the point though, by getting a bonnet from a scrapyard. On a real car, with the engine running underneath, it would've been done in no time... |

Uncle Hunty, I live in St Kilda (right opposite the Botanical Gardens), just a short stroll from Acland St. Yet I'm the one who's envious of my sister who lives in London. I agree with you about the gyros though! |
