Virtually no sport? As far as I'm concerned the sporting summer starts with the Tour de France (and ends three weeks later). Bet you'll be a bit more interested in it a year from now, though ... dg writes: If next year I pretend to be interested in Le Tour coming to London, just remember that I'm faking it. |
Not off to Barnet v l'Arsenal, then? |
Well I know I'm very much in the minority, but I for one am entirely grateful that for once there's no sodding football. I will enjoy it for the all too short time it lasts. |
OK, so there's cycling, but that's merely a bunch of men in lycra swapping jerseys on a month-long French holiday... Whoops! The GREATEST sporting event in the world dg? The Tour this year has been a classic so far. No clear winner and plenty of intruige from stage to stage. |
Yeah but to be fair, they've buried it on ITV4. Who even knew there was an ITV4? Whenever we watch it our digital guide claims it's showing 'teleshopping' |
Thanks for that. I didn't know La Tour was on ITV4. |
Aint nothing wrong with Rugby League, go and check out a Harlequins RL game |
Well predicted - the French Grand Prix was a boring procession. |
I did my mile for Sport Relief. Quite happy to have time off from football. |
