Wow, great pictures. I thought the beach up around Bamburgh in Northumberland was pretty special, but it pales in to insignificance next to Luskentyre

I visited Taransay, about 4 or 5 months before Castaway started. It's a lovely island, although not as remote as the BBC made out. I still have a human little-finger bone that I picked up on the beach there.

Thanks for your lovely pictures and reminding me of some great visits to Harris. I swam at Luskentyre, it was almost deserted and totally heavenly.
