I really enjoyed this article. I live near the terminating point of a subway line in NYC and think there is charm to the "end of the line" and the lesser used stations. In NYC there are abandoned stations that you can see if you know about them; in the darkness of the tunnel you can sometimes barely make out the old platforms. The only reason that I don't read your site more is because of my lack of internet time, and you are a prolific writer! It gets a little intimidating to see the amount of text in the RSS reader. But I have to say it's worth it - what a wealth of information about London! |
