I'm reminded of the following comment that I heard the last time the Horns went up to the Premiership- "Watford FC will be in the top flight for three seasons; autumn, winter and spring..."

But as a Watford fan it's great to see them up there.

Interesting you mention Port Vale. As I understand it, the only league club not be be named after a town, city, district or borough. (Arsenal apart of course who claim an underground station!)
