What a spectacle - I think I'll go see it tomorrow.

Wow!

The video was great.

persoannly i would have freaked and gone American on its arse! shot it dead and finish off about 6 clips on it. evil piece of wood.

Does it have tax & an MOT?

great vid.

More to the point, does it have to pay Congestion Charge? OK the CCharge doesn't operate during the weekend, but I think Ken forgot to add 42 tonne time travelling wooden elephants to the list of exempt vehicles.

Just the most jaw-dropping and utterly joyous spectacle I have seen in a very long time. Wow!

Big grin, check, memories to last a lifetime, check and the added pleasure of enjoying a stroll through the park on a lovely late spring Friday evening. What a way indeed to end a very hard week in Whitehall...

It was a fantastic show! Your pics are great. I'd be interested to know what kit you used to take them, particularly how you got the sky so blue. You can see my pics here.

Cheers Sean. My camera is a 4-year-old virtually-no-functions-at-all Sony Cybershot U-10. Doesn't even zoom.

And I got the blue sky by taking the photographs on Friday afternoon when the weather was dead sunny - nothing clever.

Sensational... I went Friday, Saturday and Sunday!! (hey, who needs to revise for exams when there's a 40-foot mechanical elephant and a 20-foot puppet wandering around London?)

Thanks for this DG... I spent a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon watching girl, elephant and rocket. Brilliant. Thanks again.

Had a fishing trip booked for today, my first ever

With the driech conditions at home at 6am I never considered by 10 sun cream would be needed and I've come back like a beetroot!

Thanks for your response. Yesterday's photos looked a bit pale-skied as well, so I think you caught the best day weather-wise. Nice to hear you're not using a high end camera too - I always thought the key to good photos was being able to take good photos rather than having an expensive camera.
