Looks good this far - good luck with the project - looks like its going to be a useful and interesting site.

DG - are you going to modestly decline to mention your recommendation in this week's Time Out?

BBC, Time Out....the World!

dg writes (at 5pm): Thanks Steven, I wouldn't have known to buy a copy on my way home otherwise

I`ll be looking in often for more of this great tourist tips.

What a bloody great idea. Nice one!

It looks great too. Good luck with it.

Looking forward to official DG guide to London....

(If I may make a suggestion: more places and walks and less museums and other typical tourist attraction)

Great News. I am already planning my Sunday walks- thanks to your excellent blog. I’d like all museums and tourist attractions to be included. As a Londoner I’m ashamed to admit I had no knowledge of Museum in Docklands or Museum of London – both of which I will visit when Jack Frost departs.

DG - I'd get on to some publishing houses ASAP. If that guy Schott can sell piles of pointless books every Christmas, a compendium of your London musings would surely top the bestseller lists?

And the best thing about all of this is that it is free, ad-free, and will, I strongly suspect, remain so.

In this age when many people are trying to make a quick buck out of blogging and its spin-offs, thank goodness there are still people like DG around who are prepared to give away their knowledge and research for the pleasure of doing it, knowing it will enlighten and enrich others' lives.

There are many kinds of 'voluntary work' and many unsung heroes.

Good on you DG

Actually BW, now you come to mention it, there is a big advert-sized white space at the top of the header...

The "spin-off" website is a great idea. I already love "Museum of London", but the Docklands one is new to me.

Keep up the great work.

Ah but surely DG wouldn't want to sully himself by getting a book published. Heaven Forbid he might be able to make a bit of money and we all know that's such a dirty word in blog circles.

Barking, Annie.

Cheers Tony, I aim to please
