No, no, no. 27th December is turkey risotto day - it's not ripe enough to put in curry yet.

25/12 - Turkey
26/12 - Turkey sandwiches
27/12 - Turkey risotto
28/12 - Turkey curry
29/12 - Turkey is so off it flaps its own way into the bin.
30/12 - Pepto-Bismol...

But DG, there are hills in Norfolk. All in the north, admittedly, and not to proper (Welsh) standards but still hills.

You could add to the list taking a ride on one of the Bure Valley Railway's "Mince Pie Special"s, though.

Oh, and you're right about Delia's half time snacks, at least in the main stand. Better than the football.

I bet your family live in fear of which of their festive exploits might feature...

Rats! Wish I was in fun packed Norfolk...

I also would rather be in Norfolk- where ever Norfolk is?
The Webcams of Norfolk show the SUN . OK no one is actually swimming or surfing but in London we have snow. Snow plus a 5.00 queue at the Next sale is Not what I call fun.
DG- delay departure date by another day at least

In Norfolk we have snow on the fields, snow on the cottage roofs and snow on the village green (or, at the moment, 'village white').
And, where I am at least, absolutely no snow-capped contours whatsoever.

Please tell me you didn't take those baubles off the tree inside...

Don't worry, they're special outdoor baubles. And, 24 hours later, they're completely covered by snow.

And it was still VERY snowy when I left today - the A47 even had what the traffic news described as "drifting snow". Unfrotunately the (north) West Midlands is just foggy dark and very wet...

Thanks for these tips - I'll be able to use them this year.
