For Old Colfeans of a certain age ~ i.e. when Colfe's was in its old prefab classrooms in Granville Park, prior to the school's move to Lee ~ the bit of Quaggy outside Chiesman's (sp?) Dept. Store was where we celebrated our rite of passge into the sixth form. We threw our school caps into the river, although it was/is more of a rivulet. Ta for the website link, dg, and for your usual stupendous work on the Fleet.. |
