I can't believe the donut (US) invasion has begun.
Many years ago I worked in a US-1950's-style-diner here in the UK. 90\\% of the business was based around donuts.
Needless to say, the business went bankrupt within a year - English people eating glazed donuts filled with peanut butter and jam (I kid you not)? No thanks. We'll have our stodge-filled UK doughnuts thank you, alongside our scones and tea.
But now? Krispy Kreme??? Aaaaaaaargh!!!
