In view of what has just happened. I hope you and yours are safe.
I just feel so sad that after such scenes of joy, the worst side of humanity emerges to cause such carnage.
London weathered the Blitz. It will weather this.

I wonder if the Olympic selection committee are about to start reconsidering their decision?

Hope your'e ok

Ditto the above: hope you're ok.

What the hell is going on in our city???

Glad you're okay Girl XX

What a difference a day makes. Hope you're OK, DG.

I hope you're safe DG.

I'm also hoping you're ok DG.

Random follower of your blog, hope you're okay.

Hope you are okay and safe.

Hope you're OK.

Thoughts of people from Belgrade are with people of London.

Checking in. You OK DG?

I guess it was horribly inevitable that it would happen here at some time and what better/worst time than when the elite of the security service will be in Scotland and will probably have been concentrating their surveillance there for the past few weeks. I know that there ar more people killed in Iraq by car bombs every day than first reports suggest have died in london (with a horrible feeling that it will go up), but it does not change the sickness of the people willing to blow others up to make a point, wherever they are in the world.
If you cannot get through on mobiles don't panic, we have just had a call from O2 advising that our mobiles are now off as all capacity is being redirected (and we are 50 miles away).
I truly hope everyone out there in blogland and their friends and families are safe.

Thanks for the update, Inspector.
Over this way (russell square) the streets are completely silent except when another ambulance passes. The area has been cordoned off so only the early-birds are here -- even those on foot have been turned away from approaching.

Has anyone heard from Elsie?

typical - just when we have something to celebrate some idiots do this. I'm thinking about you and other Londoners today

Glad to hear you're OK, DG.

Take Care

The city feels very strange at the moment. Lots of people on the pavements, but almost no cars (except for screaming police cars and motorbikes). Weird.

Glad London Bloggers are OK, and relieved I commute locally these days.

It seems that many are getting back to normal as much as possible and I think that is a good thing. They can knock us down, but we will get up lick our wounds and get on with it.

Yesterday was going to lead to a bright tomorrow....

My thoughts are with all those caught up in this mess.

Good to hear DG is safe. Shocking, absolutely shocking...

*waves*

Hi Elsie. Relieved to hear you also okay. My thoughts are with all of you in the UK.

Greetings from SA

Gallowatch
