Thankfully there's a convenient subway underneath all the traffic chaos. Darkest (lit) subway I've ever walked through - I found it really hard to adjust to the dim light. |

I love observing the roundabout from the top. You see Parisians in cars, British tour bus drivers stopping at both sides to permit photos to be taken, tourists who don't realise there's a subway to the Arc running across the street and people on scooters whizzing between the cars. |
