What is the slipped in Sci-Fi reference to, please?

I think I've been in Wyndham House and it was a tower block off Camberwell New Road

Well I spent most of the day at the Festival Hall, for their Chorus Festival Weekend.
Lots of choirs and groups singing, workshops, seminars and talks. It continues today and nearly all the events are free.

There is a Wyndham Estate on the junction of Wyndham Road and Camberwell Road, not too far from Oval. There is a big tower there, but it doesn't look like the one in the film. I think at least some of the filming was done around the Heygate Estate in Walworth.

There's a Wyndham Estate (on Wyndham Rd, naturally) in Camberwell. But it doesn't contain a Wyndham House or Tower.

Following a bit of over-socialising (is that a thing?) on Friday, I spent most of yesterday feeling sorry for myself on the couch - so you definitely had a more interesting day than me, DG.

I fear I'm turning into a bit of an anorak.

After bus spotting on Friday I went bird watching on Saturday. Mind you, they were the sort of birds that would make you twitch when you got up close and personal.

Today I'm off to watch some more anoraks messing about on the river.

Chz is right, Attack the Block was mostly filmed on the Heygate estate - they had huge lights installed on top of the blocks and were filming there for several weeks.

I entirely failed to get tickets for the Tunnel Walk at Hindhead. So, my day wasted as well, in sympathy.

I walked from Bexley to Croydon on the London Loop (despite a desperate attempt by Southeastern Trains to feed me false information at New Cross). It was a lovely day, made even better by the fact that I should have been marking exams.

I failed to go to a medieval fayre, but today is looking more promising for a second attempt!

Glad to see you've got your time machine working again, CornishCockney!

But... but... surely an oil stick crayon exposed to the weather would have faded inside 30 years. Is the point of this work entirely pointless?
