Good news DG!

Oh, the thing about mobile phones in hospitals being dangerous is a utter fib; the MHRA have said it's OK. So the hospital payphone is even more of a con than it appears at first glance.

Glad to hear your mum's on the mend.

Mine had both hers done. As she's something in the local primary care trust she spent her recovery time making furtive notes about how the ex- Bupa hospital was being run. She also fell for her surgeon.

On the phone thing, our local hospital, of course, bans phones because of the Dangerous Rays they emit. These Dangerous Rays are in no way emitted by the mobile phone transmitter sited on the hospital roof.
