I haven't travelled that section of the Metropolitan in years, but when I used to - back in about 1994 - the old trains had such bad suspension and jumped about all over the tracks so much that on one occasion I smacked my head against the window so hard I was worried about concussion. So I can imagine that must be really conducive to sex, yes. |

It's a pedantic point, but shouldn't the closest stations be Bank and Monument, followed by Hammersmith and Hammersmith (Z2)? The same applies to Paddington and Paddington, Edgware Road and Edgware Road and Shepherd's Bush and Shepherd's Bush? Those are, despite what the map implies, separate stations, after all, and you have to exit the network to travel between them. (Apart from B-M, which simply have different names but more claim to being the "same" station). |
