Spotted Simpsons and Shrek Xmas tree decorations in my local Morrisons - also the expensive versions of Cadbury's chocolates were at the checkout (the ones that taste the same but are an extra 20p because they're shaped like Xmas puds)

Also I've always felt there is something about Advent Calander Chocolate that makes it taste different - special even. But perhaps your sighting confirms that it tastes that way simply because it's stale!

my god! I'd forgotten you're all gearing up for Chrimble now - thank god I'm in an Greek Orthodox country where it's still warm enough to nip down for a swim in the sea. Seriously, I'm shocked at the thought of returning home to Christmas trees and advent calendars..

Oh! And I've been enjoying the Athens Metro this week, which isn't all that bad - brand new stations, one of which is practically a free museum, and as I travelled from Pireaus to Monistraki, who should I hear read the announcements in English but the woman off the London Underground? Made me smile, I think they put a curve in one of the platforms especially so she could say "Mind The Gap"

First things first. My local Asda is currently selling chocolate Ramadan calendars. I jest not. Food products for a period of fasting! Genius.
