I low-level lighting on the escalators seem to provide a "Hollywood" effect to the whole experience of changing lines/exiting at this station.

I have to agree; Westminster is now a magnificent station. A truly beautiful, modern structure in the midst of all that history.

Several people narrowly missed death when they were building it, when some roof tiles fell on to the concourse.

Portcollis House above it is pretty amazing too.

Yep, a truly great project. Very clever how the sense of space and openness is maintained even to the deepest level.
Portcullis House, I believe, is the most expensive office building in the UK.
