Hmmm, I wonder if the place is named after Stanley Green, the 'Protein Man'. He'd not approve of the menu, that's for sure.

I went there for my birthday in November. The food was great, but the atmosphere wasn't all that. The place was stuffed to the gills with jumped-up tossers trying to see who could bray the loudest while downing cocktails. But that was a Friday night not long before Christmas, so I suppose that's not so surprising.

I'd still definitely recommend the place though, as the sausages more than make up for the tossers, and the service is good too.

Stanleys is great, especially now it's stopped being frequented by trendies. Needs stools though.
