Felicitations of the season, DG - hope you have a fabulous 2004. Get ye down to the HMV sale, man!

Been to the HMV sale already thanks (about four different HMVs in fact). Full of all sorts of records I didn't buy when they came out, and have no plans to buy now. Ah well.

If you want to spend some money try Fopp a brilliant book, CD and DVD shop in Covent Garden - 1 Earlham Street, WC2H 9LL loads and loads of chart CD’s for a tenner and loads and loads of other good ones for a fiver or under. Plus loads of excellent books - Picador, Penguin, Taschen art books etc etc for £3. Loads of top DVD’s for ten pounds or less.

I defy you not to spend good money in there.

I work a stone’s throw from Tower Records, HMV and Virgin and Waterstones at Piccadilly Circus - Fopp is worth the extra five minute walk to covent garden.

They also have a number of other branches around the country and you can buy online but obviously you’d then have to pay for postage. http://www.fopp.co.uk/

I did Fopp earlier this week. Bought nothing.

I did, however, take back the Taschen art book that I bought my Dad for Christmas... because it turned out to be a book he already had. It cost more than £3 too, honest Dad, it did.

No, I'm sick of people trying to sell me old stuff. Will someone pleaae release some new records or some new books, please? Roll on February.

I temporarily mis-read the title of the second resolution.

If you are going to go to the cinema then go and see the last of the Lord of the Rings films.

I was dubious about it cos of the clips i'd seen on tele, but it was a truly awesome film.

Well worth seeing.

If your gonna buy a cheap dvd then get Bedazzled. I watched it on tv last night. The films crap but Liz Hurly on the red teachers outfit - Woah!!!!

Sorry for the poor typing above. I ain't fik u no!

If you want to spend money then I could do with some stuff. I would have no problem spending it. I am also a dab hand at spending other people's money on themselves (once went shopping with Sexy Eric and made him buy 9 (nine) tops).

And if you want someone to share the champagne.....

Seen on yesterday's shopping trip: granny pushing imitation-Burberry tartan shopping-bag-on-wheels. It's getting worse.

Spent on yesterday's shopping trip: £10.99.
Maybe I'm getting better.

Oooh, I know, you could do another one of those "What should DG spend his money on" things, couldn't you? No?

Burberry baseball caps. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
