please empty your brain below

I really am sorry that none of my readers deigned to ask me any questions about you when I offered them the opportunity a few weeks back.

I'm sorry that you were so upset by the experience that you had to go to these lengths to say what you wanted to.

But, well done anyway.

And get me a copy of Web User would you? There's not a hope in hell that any newsagent near The Coven has even heard of it, let alone stocks it.

Now... shall I run that little question feature again?

Web User is, apparently, "Britain's leading independent internet magazine" (with a circulation of about 70,000), so there's probably a better chance of finding a copy than you think.

Having said that, it took me eight attempts to find a copy in Central London yesterday...

Congratulations, DG - richly deserved!

Welcome to the club, DG!

Does anyone have a list of which blogs have been featured in the Blog On column to date?

Off the top of my head, I can think of: Audi Olympics, Troubled Diva, Wherever You Are, Rise, Londonmark, Vodkabird, um, Scaryduck I think...who else?

BW: Web User is surprisingly easy to find, even in quite out-of-the-way newsagents. It's a slim volume, easily missed in the computer mags section.

Well done on the article. I've been enjoying reading your blog since discovering it a week or two back. I told a friend about it and plan to tell at least one more.

Being a subscriber to said magazine, I read the article last night. It's a pretty good write up, if you ask me. You can expect your visitor numbers to go up I should think.

mike, if you want a complete list I'll go back through the old copies and have a look, though I know Green Fairy, Little Red Boat and Going Underground have also been featured.

Dave - maybe it's just me, but yeah - I would be quite interested in seeing a complete list to date...

Right - which of our list-fiends will get it up first?

Well done!!!

My blog http://london-underground.blogspot.com was in the the BlogOn section of WebUser a few issues ago and traffic did go through the roof - although the blog that was in the last issue http://www.vodkabird.org claims to have not got much traffic as a result.

Mike I think a club is the order of the day. Any thoughts anyone??

I would say well done, but given your attitude to Sarf London I'm just going to say a grumpy harrumph instead.

(Oh alright then: well done.)

Indeed - I didn't notice an increase, but then again not many people have an interest in traffic sign graffiti or how long it takes to run up the stairs in a highrise. I suspect NetNanny banned most of my site, anyway

Congratulations, Frank. Frank, what have you done to me, Frank?

Was that a Pat on the back?

bit late but still, congratulations! (or well done, or good job...)

i'm a bit late too - i read it yesterday but daren't comment here.

well done

Well done, DG. Um - one quick piece of pedantry though (and I'm sure I'll be corrected/flamed/called a fuckwit) but wasn't it Emily Pankhurt who did the 'votes for women' suffrage etc.?

Yes, it was Emily/Emmeline Pankhurst who started the 'votes for women' movement (100 years ago next Friday in fact).

Daughter Sylvia's campaign started right here though.

We're so unworthy DG - congatualoobio muchio

Been there, done that. Jolly well done, fella!

You must have improved the sales of Webuser this week. We even found several copies in the local Waitrose Supermarket and had to buy one.

Blimey, I'm on sale in Waitrose!?!
I've arrived...

The full list of 26 Web User-featured blogs can now be found here.

Thanks Dave.
