I went to see the Hulk last night, and it is kinda slow and arty, its got loads of amazing camera work and edits, and it is kinda like reading a comic. its got oodles of sadness in it as well, which is kinda the point of the story in some ways, but once the action starts, its worth waiting for. It'd probably be ok on video, but might be better appreciated at the cinema, just in case you were wondering.

good point about the sun etc. it is one of the peculiarities of our lives today. We are given a presented truth about so mant different things, from the news to documentaries that much of it could almost be seen as lies. I'm sure the gov are breathing a deep sigh of relief at the moment, but surely something like this could end up bringing down a gov. or am i just making assumptions?
have a nice one diamond

I've read 'proper' reviews (written by professional critics) that have panned the Hulk. Yet every blog I've read (just about) has said it wasn't that bad...

And I totally agree with you about the Sun. Surely there should be some sort of control over what they publish. Mind you I do agree that breasts are good

I won't date someone who reads The Sun, The Mail or The Express. I have no other particular criteria on which I exclude potential dates apart from these papers.

(However I don't mind the odd edition of NotW for the trash value).

Some of my women friends say they would never date a Tory. They giggle nervously at the idea, and quickly move on. I just finished watching the Hulk three hours ago, and can declare that it is unadulterated shite. Unequivocally I will express that opinion, yet would be prepared to listen to others. The deal would be that if I give them space to speak, then I get equal time back to reply.

Oh - and one of my cinema company was aged 10, and even he found it sadly lacking, despite the film/movie being squarely aimed at those in single figures.

Life isn't all Hollywood-based, however. Sometimes things are said and done which beg no confusion or misunderstanding. And - incidentally - David Kelly's suicide is no more or less tragic than the dozens who do the same every month. I hate fake sympathy.

I did say that Dr Kelly's suicide was a tragedy, but not that it was more tragic than any other.
I hope you weren't jumping to conclusions about something I'd posted there. Or perhaps I'm just jumping to conclusions that you may have jumped to conclusions...
