Wow! Brilliant!
That lot tires me out just reading it...

And congrats on making the individual pages load at the speed of light even on *my* connection

I'm amazed that there are only 408 escalators on the underground when there are 275 stations. How many stations actually have escalators?

And 25 of those escalators are in one station - Waterloo. Actually, it's not too surprising that there are so few escalators when you consider that most Underground stations aren't 'underground'. For example, most of the Central Line runs above ground. Only the Victoria Line is completely 'underground'.

Anorak-level escalator website here.

There's an error on 14. You list Paddington twice and omit Victoria.

Oops. That mistake's also been sitting on my blog for the past fortnight without anybody spotting it. Or at least pointing it out.

Ta, and consider it changed.

Top stuff, and I'm really glad you're preserving it (for the sake of linkability if nothing else).

Well done. Always interesting.

Nice one DG, if I get a little homesick for my second "home" I just need to check out your blog. Not that I miss the Central Line that much...
