I work in the City and had not heard about this until it was mentioned by you on Friday's post. Had a great day on Saturday - the ampitheatre under Guildhall was most unexpected and well presented - my wife had no idea it was there. Thanks for bringing the event to my attention!

@ JW, the amphitheatre is open to the public during Guildhall Art Gallery opening hours, if you go at the right time you may get a guided tour. the cheers which are part of the background noise for the amphitheatre are a recording of a football crowd which is the modern equivalent.
