just wondering what is normal snow accumulation for edinburgh in jan.? we are on the low side of average--only an inch or so yesterday. friends in lower michigan got 15 inches in one night--which is considered rather much. |

Lovely photos DG, reminds me of hte frist time I was in Edinburgh, same time of the year, same amount of snow, same risk of sliding down hills etc! I was there with my daughter for an audition for a University place, she didn't get in there but returned (as did I) for the Festival for the 3 years of her drama course. Wonderful city, shame it's dark for so much of the day in January though, I guess I hadn't realised being that much farther north nearly put it in the land of the midnight sun
